Sam Chadwick

Sam works in the Group Chief Technology Office at UBS where he leads the organization’s evaluation of  emerging technology. He joined UBS in February 2019 as the Head of the Distributed Ledger Technology Center of Excellence, before which he led the blockchain strategy for Refinitiv. Sam has a background in product strategy and product management having worked in New York, Hong Kong and Switzerland. Sam has a Masters in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford and currently lives in Zug, Switzerland. Sam was a founding board member of the Crypto Valley Association. Outside work, Sam represents Switzerland in the national Senior Touch Rugby team.
