Transitioning to a Circular Economy
The traditional “take, make, waste” economy is outdated and harmful to our environment. Yet it persists as the most used economic model today. The circular economy bends the linear model into a circle, with the addition of recycling. In today's world, temperatures continue to rise, and we constantly overexploit our resources. The circular economy extends a product's life and gives waste value, serving as a long-term solution to our environmental problems. Through innovation, action, and education, companies and governments across the world are leading this transition. But the underlying question is: how can we grow this transition globally, and make it more efficient?
