Abdulrasheed Isah

Abdulrasheed Isah is a PhD researcher in the Energy and Technology Policy Group at ETH Zurich. His research focuses on quantifying the specificity and volume of climate finance needs of developing countries to meet their climate goals under the Paris Agreement.

Previously, he has conducted research on the role of finance and public policies in energy transition in Nigeria and Brazil and the techno-economic-environmental implications of energy policies. In addition, he has experience in designing bankable renewable energy projects in developing countries.

He studied economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. He is a recipient of prestigious fellowships from Commonwealth Scholarship Commissions, German Academic Exchange Service, University of California, Berkeley, among others. Passionate about solving global challenges, he is a member of Chatham House Common Futures Conversations, World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, and Climate Reality Leadership Corps.
