Ghada Oueiss

Ghada Oueiss is a Lebanese journalist with over two decades of experience in Broadcast Journalism, renowned for her hard-hitting investigative interviews and commitment to impartiality in news coverage. 

Oueiss is an Advisory Board Member for the Online Violence Alert and Response System project - a UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Luminate-funded and ICFJ-led effort to develop an integrated and systematic response to online attacks on women journalists.

As a media trainer, she has inspired and mentored aspiring journalists to reach their full potential.

Her dedication to human rights and gender equality has been a driving force throughout her career. She has fearlessly covered political stories, conflict areas, and war zones, bringing attention to crucial issues that impact our world.

In recognition of her outstanding contribution to journalism, she was honored as a World Woman Hero at Davos in 2023. Additionally, she received the prestigious May Chidiac Foundation Award for "Engaged Journalism" in Beirut in 2013.

Her achievements are a testament to her unwavering commitment to ethical journalism and dedication to making a positive impact in the world.
