Jesse Sibarium

Jesse Sibarium is General Manager and Vice President of PTC Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on gene therapies and other life-changing treatments for patients suffering from debilitating rare diseases.

A native New Yorker, Jesse began his international career 25 years ago in the newly independent states of the former Soviet Union where he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer and partnered with local governments and entrepreneurs to create sustainable agribusiness employment in impoverished villages.

Through various twists and turns that even he finds head spinning, Jesse evolved into a global expansion catalyst within the biotech community committed to making medicine available to meet unmet patient needs across Europe, the Commonwealth of  Independent States, the Middle East and Africa via infrastructures that leverage deep local knowledge of the networks and complex rules/regulations that drive all lifescience businesses today.

Jesse has worked on over 20 product launches across 5 therapeutic areas in 50+ countries. He is conversational in 5 languages…7 on good days.
