Mary Mayenfisch-Tobin

Currently working as University and Career Guidance Counsellor both in schools and in an independent capacity, Mayenfisch-Tobin formerly worked as Guidance Counsellor and was the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion at College Champittet, Lausanne. From 2013 to 2016 she was the head of Stakeholder Relations & Student Counselling at Business School Lausanne working with Bachelor, Masters and MBA graduates.  An Accredited mediator ,she is also an independent advisor on Business and Human Rights & Education, was law professor at the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne (1997-2004); and Swiss Program Director and professor at Pepperdine University, Lausanne (2006-2012).  

Mayenfisch-Tobin has been a legal lobbyist for the Swiss Amnesty Business and Human Rights group, Berne since 2005 and she gives courses, lectures and presentations on a regular basis in schools and universities both in Switzerland, Europe and the United States.  She initiated the Platform for Business and Human Rights located at the University of Lausanne and cooperates with Professor Andreas Ziegler, UNIL.  She is a team member of the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights Foundation, Switzerland, vice president both of the Irish Business Network, Switzerland and Elle Entr’aide, Vaud, an organisation subsidized by the Canton of Vaud and recently became a committee member of the Maison de la Femme Foundation, Lausanne.
