Srishti Gupta

Dr. Srishti Gupta is a physician leader whose career spans geographies as well as the private, public and non-profit sectors. Currently Dr. Gupta is a Board Director at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals where she advises on the transition from biotech to a leading biopharmaceutical company. She is also a Board Director at Norrsken, which creates impact ecosystems connecting founders with capital, talent, working facilities and global platforms for collaboration. She was recently elected to the Board of Partners In Health, a non-profit global health organization that combats social injustice through the provision of high quality health services to the most vulnerable communities.

In her 18 years at McKinsey, Dr. Gupta advised clients on strategy, growth, and market access in the life sciences industry and spent over 10 years leading the Global Health Practice. She brought rigorous analytics and structured problem-solving to help launch and shape major public private efforts in family planning, vaccine access, preventable blindness, technical assistance, HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Working as a physician and public health consultant in many country contexts including the United States, Peru, Tanzania, India, Botswana, and Indonesia, she deepened her appreciation of working in collaboration with country and global partners.


Dr. Gupta is deeply involved in talent development; access to education; diversity, equity and inclusion and corporate governance. She serves on the board of the American Swiss Foundation, the Harvard University Global Advisory Council, the Harvard Graduate School of Education Dean’s Advisory Group and the BackPack Foundation which strengthens the presence of women in science, medicine, technology and/or leadership by enabling further education.

Dr. Gupta completed her M.D. at Harvard Medical School and M.P.P focusing on international development at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She lives in Switzerland with her husband and two sons.
