The Candied Years 

“Nothing represents youth better than a playground, the place where most memories are made, everything from frolicking in the grass to saying 'look ma! I'm so strong!' While hanging from a monkey bar to burning your back from sitting on a swing on a hot summer day. The early days of youth reminds one of the time where we had no worries, no responsibilities, just lots of joy. This sculpture made of airdry clay, coated with resin represents the setting that reminds me of the most beautiful time of my youth, a playground consisting of elements that make my personality and some straight from a park that I grew up playing in.”
