Catherine McDonald

Catherine McDonald is a research associate and PhD Candidate at the Institute for Business Ethics, at the University of St. Gallen and a Fellow of the Business and Human Rights Journal.

Her research focuses on the human rights-related responsibilities of multinational enterprises when they engage in corporate diplomacy in conflict-affected settings and she has conducted fieldwork in Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Africa.

Previously, Catherine was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University and has worked at the International Committee of the Red Cross as well as the United Nations in Kosovo, New York, and Geneva.
