Dylan Holloway

An indie-pop sensation sending shockwaves through the scene, Dylan and The Moon (Dylan Holloway) is a masterful DIY musician. Writing and producing all his own music, Dylan possesses a natural talent for crafting infectious songs that stay with you. An artistic pioneer, he has been pushing creative boundaries since coming out as a transman in 2020. After publicly transitioning, he began releasing unique male and female 'duets' using recordings of his old voice, offering an innovative and personal twist to his music.

His sound fuses modern pop production with retro nostalgia, drawing inspiration from The Beach Boys, The Cure, and Buddy Holly. This results in a captivating blend of lively guitar riffs and heart-stirring harmonies. However, it’s his passionate storytelling and heartfelt lyrics that truly resonate, captivating audiences on a deeply emotional level.

Since his transition, Holloway has fearlessly embraced his mission to spread joy and promote self-acceptance through music, public speaking, and collaboration. He is working alongside film producer Mark Huffam (Game of Thrones, House of Gucci, Napoleon) on a documentary chronicling his entire transition. In 2023, he won BBC’s music show Project Icon, impressing pop sensation Jason Derulo and dance star Becky Hill with his musical abilities and songwriting skills. This victory led to a major pop collaboration with Derulo on the track "Lemons." Last summer, Holloway wowed the main stage crowd at BBC’s Big Weekend alongside acts like The 1975 and received a shoutout from Lewis Capaldi, who was equally taken by his infectious energy and live performance.
