Brian Rohan

Brian is originally from Ireland, where he graduated in European Law and ever since has avoided practicing it. Starting as a financial analyst, he moved to London and worked with Thomson Reuters as a business strategist and content manager through the initial throes of automation, outsourcing and machine learning.

He has been in Switzerland for 10 years, with two boys growing up in the ISZL student community. Brian currently manages the Refinitiv knowledge graph (the first Linked Data store created for the financial markets) and he is deeply engaged with partners and universities in areas of rapid innovation such as text analytics, neural networks and broader artificial intelligence. He is keenly interested in important areas of AI research such as causality, trust, fairness and security.
