Karolina Eklow

Karolina engages in the topics of climate, foreign policy and security. Employed at Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) she is situated between academia and global policy-making. She focuses on institutional responses to climate-related security risks and followed the inclusion of climate change on the agenda of the UN Security Council closely. 

She is a Future Thinker for the think tank Global Utmaning in Stockholm, advising the Council for Economy and Governance. Furthermore, Karolina is the Vice Curator of the Global Shapers Stockholm Hub, where she leads a cross-hub project to shape climate policies. Through her engagement in Shapers, she is attending the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2020.
