Hosana Gomez de Silva

TV host on Latin America's largest TV network, Rede Globo, Hosana speaks weekly to the hearts of 40 million Brazilians. Growing up in a vulnerable community, a favela, in northeastern Brazil, Hosana is pursuing a master's in Public Policies and Government, researching the impacts of Climate Change on marginalized communities, like the one she was born. As a committed Climate Justice advocate, she actively engages in social organizations, advocating for racial, economic, and climate justice in Brazil. In recognition of her leadership, she was chosen as a young global leader by the Aspire Leaders program from Harvard University in 2022.
